Mental Health Social Worker

Sam (he/him) is a registered Medicare service provider, delivering psychological services, to children, adolescents and their families with concerns relating to stress, anxiety, eating, trauma, substance use, depression, attention-deficits, autism, sexualised and/or challenging behaviours and more.
Sam has extensive attachment and trauma-informed clinical experience. He integrates; Somatic and Body Oriented Therapy, Didactic Developmental Practice, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Bringing Up Great Kids (BUGK), Circle of Security and Animal Assisted Therapy.
For 10+ years, Sam has worked across QLD Health, Education QLD, and non-gov services. He has managed clinical teams within a perinatal and pre-natal mental health service and Headspace centres.

Marissa (she/her) has been registered as a psychologist since 2010 and has experience working with adults with mental health difficulties, such as depression and anxiety, as well as supporting people with complex mental health needs such as trauma, including complex trauma, and personality vulnerabilities.
Marissa has experience within forensic settings and working with parents navigating custody difficulties and/or child protection agencies. She is sensitive to the significant difficulties individuals may experience in these contexts.
Marissa tailors her approach to the needs of individual clients and draws from multiple evidence-based frameworks, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Daniel (he/him) is a Clinical Psychologist and Supervisor, with training across a range of psychotherapies including Psychodynamic, Schema, and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapies. He has interest and experience treating presentations of anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, acute stressors, addictions, and interpersonal issues for adults and adolescents aged 16+ years. He accepts third-party referrals including Workcover, DVA, NDIS, and other insurers.
Daniel's work is underpinned with a strong therapeutic relationship. In therapy with him, you'll have a safe environment to explore different aspects of yourself, to be listened to, and brainstorm clinical strategies that will help with what you're going through.
Before working in private practice, Daniel worked in the Child Mental Health Inpatient Unit at Queensland’s Children’s Hospital and the Oncology and Palliative Care Unit at The Prince Charles Hospital.

Alan takes a holistic approach to fitness, recognising the strong connection between physical health and mental wellbeing. He enjoys designing programs that emphasise functional mobility, helping clients carry their training into everyday life while building strength, confidence, and long-term wellbeing.

Peta (she/her) focuses on helping clients grow in the areas of life that feel most important and meaningful to them. She recognises that personal growth evolves across the lifespan and can be especially significant during times of transition, such as starting school, entering adolescence, early adulthood, the perinatal period, and navigating the challenges of parenting. Peta provides support both in-clinic and via telehealth.
While she enjoys working with people of all ages, Peta has a particular interest in supporting children, adolescents and their families, young adults, and parents—including those in the perinatal period. She is also experienced in psycho-educational assessment and is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist with board-approved supervisor endorsement.
Drawing on extensive experience in primary and secondary school settings, Peta believes assessment plays a vital role in understanding an individual’s strengths and challenges, and how these may influence their learning, social relationships, family life, and overall mental health.

Peer workers empower individuals by focusing on their strengths and potential rather than their limitations. Lamb encourages self-advocacy and personal-development, helping people to build trust and confidence in their ability to manage their recovery and navigate life's ups and downs. Lamb is a vocal advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and wellbeing, and is a proud Bigambul Gamilaroi (First Nations) person, with a personal focus on decolonising the mental health field and understanding the spiritual alongside the scientific. Lamb is passionate about providing safe and understanding spaces for clients to explore their identities and perspectives, overcome challenges, and build resilience within their spirit and for their communities.

Tegan (she/her) is a Psychologist and Psychology Board Approved Supervisor. She has worked for more than 15 years providing services to adolescents, adults and families, in inpatient and community settings. Her special interests are in complex trauma and addiction. Tegan is passionate about neurodiverse affirming therapy.
Tegan also supports family and friends (including children) of people with mental health difficulties, to develop their understanding of mental illness, improve wellbeing and resilience in relationships.
